Our role is to provide an independent starting point. We visit your church, review the available energy information, look at the building, heating, lighting and equipment, and identify the principal opportunities and issues. We then turn our findings into a clear three-year decision-support plan for the PCC.
It is not a technical design document. It is a practical planner that helps your PCC understand:

The Church Energy Audit
A focused in-person audit followed by a written strategic report. We visit your church and review building fabric and condition, heating and hot-water systems, lighting and electrical energy use, energy bills and consumption information, existing energy and Net Zero initiatives, opportunities for practical improvements, potential longer-term projects, and relevant grants and funding routes.
You do not need technical knowledge or specialist preparation. We work through the information with you.
A three-year PCC action plan
A prioritised roadmap showing potential actions, investigations and projects across the next three years.
Independent strategic advice
A clear assessment of the issues and opportunities identified during the audit, written for PCC members and church administrators rather than engineers.
Professional signposting

Church Energy Support does not replace the professional specialists who may ultimately design, specify, certify or carry out work. Instead, we help your PCC get to the point where it can make better-informed decisions about what professional help it needs and when it needs it.
For example, if your church may need a new heating system, we can identify this as a strategic priority, explain why it warrants investigation, outline the questions the PCC should ask, and point you towards appropriate heating, M&E or other professional services.
The detailed assessment, design, specification and certification of any project remains the responsibility of the appropriately qualified professional appointed by the church. Our job is to help you know what questions to ask, what decisions are coming, and where to go for the answers.
Not an engineering report. Not a generic Net Zero checklist.
Your report is designed as a working PCC document. It gives the church a common picture of where it is now, what it could consider next, what requires further professional investigation, and how the different pieces might fit together over a three-year period.
